Spoilers Sweeties! Official Description: Supernatural 9.11 "First Born"

Oh.My.God. OH MY GOD OH MY GOD OH MY GOD!

Well, this is super massively spoilery in relation to Sam. Massively spoilery!

Oh, you better read the synopsis!

TIM OMUNDSON ("PSYCH") GUEST STARS AS CAIN --- Looking to reclaim his place as King of Hell, Crowley (Mark Sheppard) asks Dean (Jensen Ackles) for help finding "The First Blade," the only blade that can kill Abbadon (guest star Alaina Huffman). Knowing he owes Crowley a favour for helping Sam (Jared Padalecki), and also wanting Abaddon dead himself, Dean reluctantly agrees and the two set off on a road trip. However, Dean and Crowley are completely unprepared when they find out who has the blade - Cain (guest star Omundson), the first son. Meanwhile, Sam is back at the bunker with Castiel (Misha Collins) who notices there is some leftover grace inside Sam. If they can extract it, they can use the grace to track Gadreel. The only problem is the procedure may do permanent damage to Sam. John Badham directed the episode written by Robbie Thompson (911).

Okay, see massively spoilery and really rather awesome! Phew, quite frankly. I wonder who Gadreel is hanging out in now (the bastard!). I like the idea of Castiel and Sam getting some time together. I've always thought, that given the opportunity they would bond. I also like the idea that Sam may have a tad left over Grace. Actually, I like that a lot. But it sounds like they're going to try and get it out of Sam. Please, no more with the permanent damage. I mean, how much can Sam's poor body and soul stand!

The whole idea of Crowley and Dean on a road trip fills me with squee! That would be one car full of sassy comebacks and snarky one liners! Are you kidding! That is going to be some funny dialogue right there.

I'm also excited for this whole Cain storyline. I don't watch Psych. The only time I've seen Timothy Omundson is at karaoke as a guest of Richard's! But Cain and the idea that the brothers trace back to Cain and Abel fills me with glee. Glee I tells ya! And not the singing kind!

Now the other thing that's got me seal-clapping over this one is the director... JOHN BADHAM! Are you kidding? John directed War Games, Saturday Night Fever, Short Circuit... EPIC SQUEE! He was a crazy successful movie director through the 70's, 80's and 90's after which he moved into TV and became a crazy successful TV director. Damn this show gets some talent working on it.

Of course, speaking of talent - this episode is written by the always witty and delightful Robbie Thompson. So you know what I was saying about sassy comebacks and snarky one liners? YEP and YEP!

Who's excited? Who's got an opinion? Who wants to jump up and down like a fangirl (or boy). ME!
