Supernatural Spoiler-palooza! Season 9 Finale spoiler round up.

SPOILER-PALOOZA

Once upon a time I used to flee from spoilers. I used to hide out in the panic room and stay entirely spoiler free for the last 3 episodes of the season!

That was then. This is NOW!

Now I devour spoilers like a Leviathan devours people who irritate him! And the spoilers for the season 9 finale, "Do You Believe In Miracles" have me feeling tingly all over. Actually, maybe it's lack of oxygen from hyperventilating! Whatever, I am EXCITED (or passing out.)

So because I'm excited to infinity and beyond, I thought I'd bring together into one place, a bunch of the best spoilery bits we've been given over the last week.

So here we go, welcome to the Supernatural Spoiler-palooza!

For the specific purpose of this post, please call me sweetonspoilers! (Thanks for that one Angie!)

The last five minutes of the finale are the most important five minutes of Supernatural history," Jared Padalecki tells TVGuide.com.

"Something happens that has never happened before in the show. We've gone left, right, up, down, done all sorts of things in the show, but we do something in the finale that we've never seen."

"I haven't seen Season 10, but I'm imagining it has to set up all of season 10," the actor adds. "It's very exciting."

With the Mark of Cain continuing to take its toll on Dean (Jensen Ackles), the eldest Winchester has been struggling against his darker instincts. But it seems Dean can't resist any longer. "We're going to see him go all the way," Padalecki says.

"There's a parallel with Dean in Season 9 kind of going through what Sam went through in Season 4, where he feels empowered, he feels strong, he feels like he's doing the right thing. And obviously it can take over."

Of course, in Season 4 it was Dean who was able to get through to Sam (though not in time to stop him from breaking the final seal). Will Sam try to repay the favor and save his brother from himself?

"Yes he will," Padalecki says. "Sam did a lot of things this season that upset Jared — like, I wanted to be there. As a little brother and a father of two boys, I wanted to see Sam fight for his brother a little bit more. That didn't happen earlier for reasons understood, but we certainly see Sam in the finale be the brother that I would hope for him to be."

I'm not crying! It's just something in my eye! Like tears....

From TV|Line:

With Dean full of First Blade-fueled rage after last week’s Supernatural, Sam and Castiel will be forced to do the unthinkable to save their brother and friend in this Tuesday’s season finale.

“Sam and Cas are going to have to team up because Dean has powers that are heretofore unknown, so they’re surprising both Sam and Cas,” previews star Jared Padalecki. “We have to go to a pretty big extreme to take care of what’s going on with Dean.”

Meanwhile, as Cas faces the loss of his angelic powers, he “may go to great lengths” to save his own skin, says co-star Misha Collins; at least it seems like he’ll have some time before his juice runs out completely. “I’m interested to see what the writers do with Cas’ fading grace in Season 10.”

Although the Winchesters have been at odds for much of the year, Padalecki assures TVLine that the season ender is full of “a lot of what makes Sam and Dean Sam and Dean and a lot of that brotherly love that the show is based on. You see a lot of it in the finale, in a weird way. So hopefully, next season, we bounce off of that” to show a stronger bond between the two, he says.

While finishing some post-production sound work for the episode, Padalecki found himself overwhelmed by a gamut of emotions. “Parts of it made me laugh, parts of it brought me to tears and parts of it really gave me that feeling where I was excited to see what happens next,” he says.

But before fans can see what comes next this fall, they should prepare for a long, torturous summer: Padalecki teases that Tuesday’s hour closes with a “huge” cliffhanger that changes the landscape “big time.”

“More than any other season before, this season finale has implications for Season 10,” he adds. Says Collins, who sums up the ending as “chilling”: “It may be the best last 10 seconds of a season that we’ve had in five years.

Quick! Someone call an ambulance! I think my heart just stopped!

From Just Jared

Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles make their entrances at The CW Network’s 2014 Upfront Presentation held at The London Hotel on Thursday morning (May 15) in New York City.

The guys were joined on the carpet by their co-star Misha Collins, who was just upped to series regular status for next season!

“Something happens in the finale that is a first we’ll see,” Jared told JJ on the carpet. “I’d say don’t miss the last 30 seconds of the finale.”

Misha told us, “I can say that the fans are going to freak out. I think it’s very chilling and disturbing. When I read the script for the finale, I was definitely shocked. I thought, ‘Can they do this?’ The last five seconds!”

“I’m going to one up [Jared and Misha] and say its the last second,” Jensen said. “The moment the screen goes to black. The last second. There are multiple characters involved. There’s a predicament now.”

I'm already freaking out!

From EW:

Supernatural‘s Winchester brothers have been through it all. Well, they’ve at least been through a lot. In the show’s previous eight season finales, we’ve watched Dean get sent to hell, Sam get sent to hell, Dean get sent to purgatory, Sam die, and believe it or not, this list keeps going. But this season, the finale is going to focus less on where the brothers are sent and more on what’s happening internally, specifically with dear old Dean.

In the penultimate episode, we got a glimpse at what the Mark of Cain was doing to Dean when he attacked Gadreel with the First Blade and was all but foaming at the mouth for more. So can things get worse for Dean? Jensen Ackles hopes not. “It’s been a tough season for me,” Ackles told us at the CW Upfronts. “I don’t usually have to play Dean this dark for this long. Usually it’s an episode, and then he comes back and is happy-go-lucky and a Dean we all love to hate or love to love, whatever side of the fence you’re on.” Obviously we’re on the love-to-love side of things.

“I’m hoping that season 10 might lighten him up a bit,” Ackles added. “[Season] 9 took a bit of a toll, but at the same time, that’s something I don’t expect. Because the show is every evolving and it constantly changes, the characters have to do the same, so even though it was a rough tough season, I still think it was a good season. We’ll see.”

However, we first have to make it through the season 9 finale, which, when asked to rank the finale on a scale of one to Hell, Ackles said: “It’s not so much the place that he’s in as opposed to the issue that’s surrounding him, and that I think is the shocking part.”

Speaking of shocking, Ackles guaranteed that the finale is one of those don’t-miss-the-final-60-seconds deals. Also, expect one of those Winchester brother-bonding moments that will “probably” make you cry, “considering [Jared's] tears were all over my shoulder,” Ackles said.

A-wahhhhhhh! Sammy tears = Amy tears!

From EOnline:

It's my favorite finale we've ever done."

Woah, that's big praise considering Supernatural has had its fair share of epic finales. Eight previous ones, to be exact, so we're pretty sure Jared Padalecki wasn't exaggerating when he gushed about the CW hit's finale, "Do You Believe in Miracles?," airing tonight.

"True to Supernatural form, we go to the extreme," he told us on the red carpet at the CW's Upfront presentation in NYC. "I mean we're 195 episodes in, we have to do something kind of big time. So we do. There will be a big audience reaction."

And Jensen Ackles is backing up his on-screen bro, telling us that even he was surprised by what goes down in the finale. "I know what my reaction was when I got to the end of the page and my mouth was open," he said. "I will say that this cliffhanger surprised me more than most."

So just how dark will Dean (Ackles) go, thanks to the Mark of Cain, which has turned him into a bit of a killing addict? "I will say Dean...he will get darker than we have seen him," Jensen ominously teased.

However, he did have a bit of good news to share with fans: a possible make-up between Sam and Dean, after a rocky season. (And that's putting it gently.) "I will tease the fact that yes, there is a bit of a resolution there and a bit of a regrouping so to speak."

But before you start celebrating, Jensen was quick to add, "But it doesn't last long."

Curses!

Of course, fans can breathe a sigh of relief going into tonight's finale knowing that Misha Collins is set to return as a series regular for Season 10, meaning more Castiel, which is always a good thing, right? Well, that depends on who you ask...

"We've been trying to get it into our contract that he's not allowed on set, but Warner Bros. isn't going for it," Jensen joked. "So it just means that our crew is going to increase in hazard pay with the pranks that Jared and I will be pulling on him. Everybody's going to have to wear safety helmets and goggles."

So will they be topping their infamous pie prank, which they pulled when Misha made his directorial debut earlier this season? "That was child's play. We're going to reserve a room for him at the ER," Jensen warned. "Jared and I have found out early on that we work much better as allies."

Sounds like they're brothers both on and off-screen, and Jared told us he's actually learned a lot from Sam and Dean's relationship on the show, which he hopes to pass on to his two young sons, Thomas, 2, and Shepherd, 5 months.

"What I've learned is that in my opinion, and the littlest one is five months, so he's too young to really grasp it, but you got a teammate," he told us. "Be happy, you're teammates...you have a best friend for life!"

How can these guys make my heart all mushy and poundy and frightened and poundy all at once?

How about what our guys all said at the CW Upfronts?

(excuse the subtitles I was having embed issues!)

GOT IT?

In summation: WE ARE GOING TO FREAK OUT!

So that's it...for now! But if anything happens in the next 12 hours that you need to know about, I'll be putting it right here!

You can also read my GREAT BIG PREVIEW which has the synopsis and all the promos, episode stills, plus some fan theories!

Soooooooo are we excited, terrified, thrilled, can't wait, flailling all over the room, all of these things and more? YES!

The Light on Spoilers, Heavy on Squee Preview of the Supernatural Season Finale! 9.23 "Do You Believe In Miracles"

SEASON FINALE!
*runs around screaming*

Well. This is it. The season 9 finale. Ahead us lies unknown horror followed by 5 months of hand wringing! Remind me why we watch this show again? Oh yeah...because IT'S AWESOME!

So let's take a quick look at what's been going on....

THEN

THE BROTHERS

Sam was dying after going through the trials and stopping short of closing the gates of Hell. To save his brother, Dean did a deal with an unknown angel, and tricked Sam into saying "yes" even though he knew that Sam would not be on board with his plan.

The angel Dean let inside Sam turned out to be an impostor and not the angel Dean thought him to be. When said angel, (revealed to be Gadreel, the angel who let Lucifer into the garden), teamed with Metatron, in order to demonstrate his allegiance, Metatron made him kill Kevin. So Gadreel, wearing Sam, burned Kevin out of his body while a helpless Dean watched on. A-wahhhh!

When Sam was finally released from Gadreel's possession, he let loose a world of angry hurt onto his brother, implying to Dean that he no longer felt that Dean was a brother to him and allowing Dean to believe that Sam would not save Dean if placed in the same situation.

This, along with Dean's own guilt over what he did to Sam and what happened to Kevin because of his actions, made Dean flee and in a desperate state, team up with Crowley who managed to manipulate Dean, which led to finding Cain, taking on the Mark of Cain no questions asked and agreeing to kill Abaddon if Crowley could bring him the First Blade. The tragic play was set in motion.

Dean is now infected by the Mark and all that comes with it - a terrible burden. Every time he uses the First Blade, he becomes more bound to it and addicted to the power that surges through him. Every kill seems to make him stronger. He can even move the Blade with his mind!

Sam, even though still pissed at his brother, has put his feelings of hurt to the side for the time being, as his concern over Dean's behaviour increases. Sam is worried. As well he should be.

Regardless of all of this, the brothers remain together, even with everything said and done and through their emotional estrangement.

THE ANGELS

Castiel lost his grace when Metatron stole it to cast the spell that tossed the angels out on their asses and made them fall to earth. Cas then stole another angel's grace to power back up. Unfortunately, that stolen grace is burning out... and taking Cas with it.

Metatron believes he is writing the new history of life, the Universe and everything and has positioned himself in Heaven as the new God, offering the angels a way "home", if they pledge allegiance to him. He is also considering buying a trench coat.

Gadreel is still Metatron's lackey, however,  as Metatron's ruthless tactics are revealed, the angel appears to be having doubts about the side he has chosen. Gadreel has spoken to Castiel and when last seen, was bleeding out Grace after coming hat in hand to the bunker and being sliced open by a feral Dean Winchester wielding the First Blade!

THE DEMONS

Abaddon, in all her glory has been dispatched in an epic demonstration of what the Mark of Cain and the First Blade can do when combined. Dean killed her, and then some. Apparently with a wind machine somewhere in the vacinity.

Crowley has ingratiated himself with a vulnerable Dean. He has a plan for Dean and Dean, unwittingly, has played right into Crowley's hands. However, Crowley is still affected by traces of humanity left behind by the trials and amplified by his continued consumption of human blood. This made him save his son, who plucked from the past, is now living in the present and doing God knows what to the time, space continuum! Crowley may also have a huge crush on Moose.

NOW

What affect is the Mark of Cain having on Dean and where will that lead?

How can the brothers repair their eternally tested relationship. Can Sam forgive Dean? Does Dean currently give a damn?

What's going to happen to Castiel if he can't retrieve his own grace. Is Cas about to go up in a burst of fiery bright light?

Can Metatron be stopped?

Has Gadreel truly flipped teams?

Will the gates of Heaven finally be opened so the souls trapped in the veil (including Kevin) can pass on?

What the hell is Crowley really up to? What is his plan for Dean? What is his plan for everyone?!

WHAT IS GOING TO HAPPEN?

*tiny voice* What is going to happen? Tell meeeee!

Let's take a look at the incredibly vague synopsis...

“Do You Believe in Miracles”

THE SHOCKING SEASON FINALE — Dean (Jensen Ackles) feels the effects of the First Blade, and Metatron (guest star Curtis Armstrong) makes his move against humanity. Meanwhile, Sam (Jared Padalecki), Dean and Castiel (Misha Collins) face shocking consequences when taking the fight to Metatron (guest star Curtis Armstrong). Thomas J. Wright directed the episode written by Jeremy Carver (#923).

Yeah...that gives us exactly diddly squat! Apparently, stuff will happen that has shocking consequences. Well, thank you captain obvious!

The finale is penned by The Carver, who gave us the season opener, "I think I'm Gonna Like It Here" and of course, last season's beautiful finale, "Sacrifice". He's a lovely writer so I'm definitely looking forward to what he has in store for us this time around! Thomas J. Wright this season directed "Holy Terror" and "Meta Fiction", two incredibly important episodes.

Okay, so...seeing as there is nothing to discuss from the synopsis, let's start off with the CW promo.

I think Dean really needs to kill! Meep. So we finally get a bit more intel on the Mark/First Blade combo and what it's doing to Dean. The more he kills, the better he feels. But what happens if he stops killing? Is he going to get sick, like when Sam stopped the trials? Though Cain gave up killing and threw away the Blade, and controlled his urge to kill, so it must be possible to separate yourself from it. Though Dean is not Cain.

There's so much going on in this promo. Crowley being summoned by Dean, why do I think this is bad. Sammy trying to stop Dean, why do I think this is bad. Angels beating the snot out of someone. Gadreel looking rather dead (though I don't think he is), Sam shooting WHO? Something blowing up, Dean flying through the air, and the confrontation between Dean and Metatron...on a boat apparently. Whew, that's a lot of stuff!

How about the CHCH promo?

Pretty much the same - something is happening to Dean and he finally seems concerned about it. Huzzah! Will we find out what the Mark and the First Blade are truly doing to him? Sam tries to stop Dean and Metatron sends Dean flying. That was a pretty cool edit by the way, those 2 scenes cut well together! What will Dean do to Sam to get out of the bunker. Eeep.

Here's the sneak peek clip.

Angry Dean is angry... Awww "Sam. Sammy?" Remind you of another scene in another season? Dean has had to do this for Sam once too.

We know Dean doesn't stay in the dungeon. We know he summons Crowley, who I'm assuming lets Dean out. On the way, Dean runs into Sam in the bunker... then stuff happens and there are shocking consequences.

THEORIES

This is the part where I throw out some of the theories doing the rounds, so if you don't want to read these, skip down to the last three paragraphs!

Yeah, so. Jensen read the season finale script and was surprised that they "went there", he then said at the upfronts that the finale is a real "eye opener". He wanted us to remember he said that. Jared said, something happens that the brothers can't just bounce back from and it could set up mythology for seasons to come. Misha said it's disturbing and will freak us out. How y'all feeling? Worried much?

I'm really shit at predicting what will happen in this show and I don't even try. Many theories are swirling around this fandom and have passed my way. One is that one of the brothers will kill the other. Obviously this relates to the Mark of Cain mythology. Also obviously, neither brother can really die, or at least, die permanently. I'm not sure this is going to happen...or that it would play out as simple as this.

There are thoughts that maybe Dean's eyes will go black. According to Jensen it is the last second that will blow our minds. This would go with his "a real eye opener" comment that he then reinforced with asking us to remember that he said that.

There's also the theory that Sam could be faced with the same situation that Dean was faced with at the beginning of the season. Having to make that choice, to save his brother no matter what the outcome. I like this one. This would be a nice circular path in this season's mythology. Does Dean want to die because of the Mark, or is prepared to kill himself to stop Metatron, like Sam was prepared to do with the trials and closing the gates of Hell? But Sam stops Dean, like Dean did Sam? The consequences for Sam were that he was on death's door and ended up with an angel all up inside him. Could the consequences of Sam's actions to prevent Dean dying be that Dean is no longer wholly human?

There would be lovely symmetry to the above and it could, dependent on Dean's state, set the brothers back onto a path of understanding and possibly healing. I've said all along that this particular journey was not about apologies, but about understanding, something I think the brothers have always struggled with. Neither ever fully understanding the other's road, even though they share the ride and share so many steps along the way.

Jared said at A12 over the weekend, that Sam was lying to Dean when he said he wouldn't save Dean. That of course Sam would. He was simply angry and trying to injure Dean. And Dean would have seen that eventually and understood it, had it not been for the influence of the Mark. He said that both brothers love each other equally and that love is now, and was always there.

This is something I've believed and screamed from the rooftops since "The Purge"! So it was great to hear Jared say all that. I never believed Sam meant those words...

If this is the case, it could set the stage for Sam to save Dean from this new, dark destiny. Something I know we would all love very much to see. I'm sure that would do Dean's heart the world of good...unless he is no longer Dean...

Hey, but chances are NONE of this speculation is going to happen! Because this is Supernatural and one thing it always manages to do is surprise us! Remember those falling angels?

Whatever will happen we can all rest easy, we have another season. Both the Js are onboard - obviously - and totally jazzed by how the show and where the story is going. Just a glimpse of their excited interviews at the upfronts should (but probably won't) still some of those voices in the fandom that believe Jensen and Jared no longer enjoy their jobs. Jensen did say this was a hard season for him and he's glad to move past it. He's said repeatedly that this story was a difficult one on him and it took a toll. But in the meet and greet I did with Jensen in Las Vegas, he said that regardless of that, he was enjoying exploring this side of Dean and was enjoying the story and getting to play Mark of Cain Dean and having such a significant role in the mythology...it was just emotionally exhausting for him. We also know that Misha will return next season, so we know that Castiel will be back in some form or another. Beyond that it's anyone's guess...though Jared did kind of say something in one of the upfronts interviews that sounded like another character may make it through into season 10.

So, this is it guys! The big one! The season 9 finale. May we all come together afterwards to support each other in our probable emotional flailing state! Time for fandom to hug it out I say! We'll have 5 months to speculate what will happen to these brothers that we all love so much. Hopefully the team will be at Comic Con and we'll get a few vague hints! And maybe we'll see some sneaky shots, if someone is clever enough with their phone camera!

Enjoy the episode guys. Revel in the fact that we have our wonderful show and that we have at least one more year. Possibly more! Who knows! Bask in the glory that is Sam and Dean. Celebrate Supernatural! And carry on my wayward sons...

Spoilers Sweeties! Promo photos from Supernatural season 9 finale! "Do You Believe In Miracles"

Well. This is IT! The season 9 finale. I am full of scaredness! Everyone is freaking me out...particularly you, Jensen! Sush! You're frigtening us! (Never sush, we love listening to you.)

So here are the promo pics for the SEASON FINALEEEEEEEEEEE. *insert echo echo echo*.

Ready? Let's flip out together! Weeeeee!

I have a feeling Dean does not get trapped in the bunker dungeon for too long. I also have a feeling he's summoning his BFF from Hell!
I love that these guys are so smart about this kind of stuff. It makes my heart all swelly.

And look! Here he is, all trapped in a Devil's trap...where I predict, he won't stay for long!

I won't lie, I like it when Dean growls. I don't like why, but I do like the outcome of why. Like, quite a bit. As in a lot. As in OH BOY! *fans self*
(Look at him. Just, LOOK!)

What's behind door 7B? I feel significance to this number. So I googled it.
Matthew 7:7 talks about the gateway to Heaven. Genesis 4:7 talks about the gateway to Heaven. Hmmmmmmm.
Of course, it's probably just a door labeled 7B.

Actually it's just the door in the bunker. Damn. I like my theories!
Oh well, I have learnt so much bible stuffs from Supernatural!

Um. Character spoiler.

Legs. Of character spoiler?

The fact that Castiel kept the pimp mobile is the best. And the fact that it matches his trench is the bestest.
(p.s. I have a feeling the last three pics were out of order!)

BROMENT BROMENT BROMENT BROMENT BROMENT
That is all.

Ugh. I don't want Dean working with Crowley anymore. Because Crowley is working Dean. I'm sure of it. I'm sure he has a plan for him and the whole shebang. I'm sure it wasn't just, kill Abaddon. He knows too much. Look at that shifty face. LOOK AT IT. Did I mention ugh?

Oh nuts. This is not going to go anywhere good. I can feel it in my waters. Unless they're just swinging by Brownsville for a beer and pub lunch! Yay! :D

Is Crowley back to living in a mobile home? Because, cool!

Boys. Together. (But not like, together together).

Sam in full stride is a sight to behold. Clothes and hair all wind swept. It's windy up high where he is!

My baby. Oh... MY! I won't lie, Blade!Dean is smokin' hot. But he makes me painfully sad too. I'm so sad for him. So very sad. I want that mark off his damn arm.
But not like, you know Krycek Tunguska style or anything!

Are they on a boat? Did Metatron join the merchant navy or something?
Metatron: "I'm on a boat"
(Sorry, just had to (not sorry))

*wibble* to infinity and beyond.

I gotta admit it. I'm totes freaked out. I have no idea what's going to happen in this finale and the ideas I do have make my stomach ache. I'm more nervous and excited about this finale than I have been since, well probably "Swan Song", because it feels THAT big, it feels like whatever will happen will be that catastrophic. Catastrophic to the characters and catastrophic to my feels! Which makes me terrified, yet so thrilled. And isn't that soooo Supernatural?

That this show, after 9 seasons, can remain this exciting and surprising is astonishing in itself. It just keeps on bringing it. And I'm sure, on Wednesday night (I am in Australia remember), I will be shaking my fists at the TV through a veil of tears, while I rock back and forth muttering "5 months. 5 months"!

Damn I love this show!

The Light on Spoilers, Heavy on Squee Preview of Supernatural 9.22 "Stairway To Heaven"

THE PENULTIMATE EPISODE OF THE SEASON!

THE PENULTIMATE EPISODE!
(Nobody says penultimate)

Well, we're nearly there. Nearly at the finale. I don't know whether to cheer, scream or cry!

Last week Abaddon was dispatched by a Mark of Cain activated, First Blade wielding, moving things with his mind, the power of The Force, Bloodlust filled, uber hot Dean!

So one down...one...or maybe two...to go!

Now that Crowley is, I guess, back in charge of Hell...it's the war for Heaven that will have everyone's attention. That and the Mark of Cainnnnnnnnnn! MARK OF CAINNNNNNNNNNN!

Let's check out the synopsis...shall weeeeee?

TESSA THE REAPER RETURNS — After a massive attack on the angels, Castiel (Misha Collins) calls Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) for help. As they leave, Dean’s eagerness to bring the First Blade doesn’t go unnoticed by Sam who is worried about the cost to his brother whenever he uses the Blade. Meanwhile, Castiel is shocked when he learns the angel that caused the attack was one of his followers and did it in his name. Dean discovers there is a conspiracy amongst Castiel’s angel followers and at the heart of it is Tessa, the Reaper. Guy Bee directed the episode written by Andrew Dabb (#922).

AWESOME DOUBLE! GUY BEE AND ANDREW DABB! Yay!

Okay, so Tessa. I love her (please don't kill her...especially Dean please don't kill her. Eeeep!) I'll be interested to see what Tessa's part in this whole angel war mess is and also, does she know anything about The Mark? I'm seriously jonesing for information on this damn Mark of Cain and what the burden is and whether Dean's stuck with it and what will happen/is happening to him! And ARGH!

It's a pretty vague synopsis really, I feel like there must be more going on than that!

So let's look at the promo...shall weeeeee?

ARGHHHHHHHH Dean's all frenzied and growling and being held back! Man. And Cas' followers look like crazytown angels! Oh my goodness. Looks like Metatron is feeling a bit wobbly in his megalomaniac shoes! Poor Metatron being all left out by the other angels... Pfft! I'm still super interested to know what Gadreel's role is going to end up being and what side of the battle field he ends up dropping on.

Ok... BEST SNEAK PEEK EVER...or maybe 2nd best, because the Dean explaining sex sneak peek was pretty damn awesome.

Full disclosure, I've watched this clip 14,562 times. Okay I haven't, but I could! I LOVE IT!

I did pontificate about this clip quite profusely on a previous post, so here's something I prepared earlier - with a few new notes!

Things to ponder...

DEAN IS NOT SLEEPING. This fills me full of worry. Does this mean The Mark/Blade combo is affecting his soul? As in Soulless!Sam never slept either. Or is he just so jacked up with power, he's running on adrenaline and doesn't need sleep? Or is this a demon thing? Demons I assume, like angels do not sleep. So whatever the Mark is doing to Dean, it's changing him on a physiological level. Kind of like the trials were doing to Sam. I wonder, and I assume not, did Cain sleep? Oh man... my stomach hurts.

**I don't think Dean's becoming a demon, but the fact that his lack of sleeping has been referenced several times and we also had a whole episode about soulless people where Sam reminisced about being soulless, fills me with fear. This show seldom does this stuff for no reason.**

This takes place 2 hours after they got home from "King of the Damned". I like this timeline, it gives a real sense of urgency. The last 2 eps must happen over days.

I love getting a glimpse into the boy's bedrooms. It makes me feel good and a bit gooey to see that they have that space. Nawww.

Sammy is sleeping fully clothed on the bed. Exhausted I assume, but also, ready? Looks like he was sleeping with his hand on his gun, that's odd. It was hard to tell because Dean's hand was in shot, but it was such a quick draw, I'd say his gun was under/in his hand under the pillow as opposed to simply stashed under the pillow. Maybe what Dean said in the car about nothing getting in his way has put Sam's guard up even higher, because they are in the bunker where they should feel relatively safe. It gives me feels and not the good kind.

**I really am rather concerned about Sam being in his room in the bunker with his hand on his gun (this is not an euphemism!) I wonder if seeing Dean in full Mark of Cain/First Blade flight, along with Dean's assertions that nothing will get in his way once the Mark is activated has given Sam the weebs!**

The whole waking Sam up and tossing his shoes on the bed thing made my inner, well my outer, Winchester brothers fangirl squee because we rarely see that kind of thing between them. That close proximity comfort...what is that, like a casual intimacy (not that kind!) that comes with being brothers. Even though it was not coming from that place I guess, more Dean being on bloodlust remote control and just wanted Sam up, but, I don't know, I just liked the whole concept of that little scene. Also, Dean being a brat and waking his bro with blaring music. I feel like he would have done that with or without the Mark!

Sam didn't even have enough time to get real bedhead. He looks pretty all single layered, snoozy and ruffled... mmmmm snoozy, bed ruffled Sam.

I love that Sam goes and grabs a coffee. Once again, it's those little things in the bunker that make me squeeful because it's homey and I like that they have this place.  :')

Dean talking about Cas being a weird, dorky little guy and making Sam laugh and smile. Bless. Dean is still in there making jokes. Dean is still in there... DEAN IS STILL IN THERE (she says with hope and fear).

Magic this powerful comes at a price.

Magic this powerful comes at a price.

Magic this powerful comes at a price.

Thank you Captain Obvious. And yes, we have no clue what that price is. Can someone pin Crowley or Castiel down and see if they know? UGH! They need to know what the terrible burden is. I NEED TO KNOW!

Hey, I wonder if Tessa knows...

**DOES TESSA KNOW ANYTHING? I feel like we should be doing more research into what the hell the Mark of Cain is going to mean to Dean...PLEASE!**

If it wasn't so clear that The Blade/Mark combo is doing something to Dean, that ugly assed thing would be going with them everywhere, but I love how Sam broaches leaving it behind for Rage!Dean reasons. He doesn't TELL Dean, because that would never work, he poses it as a question, "Do you think we need the First Blade, why don't we just leave it here?" Nice way to gently open the discussion without force.

"You don't have to have it with you all the time, right?" I loved this too, clever, because what's Dean going to say... yes? Because, right now yes he does, but that would mean openly admitting that to himself, which Dean never likes to do even when he knows it's true, and worse, admitting it to Sam. Nice work there Sammy.

**I seriously love Sam in this clip. So smart!**

I hope Sam didn't believe Dean when he said he was "fan-friggin-tastic". I sure hope Sam doesn't believe that for one second.

And you know, the minute Sam's back was turned that blade went straight in Dean's duffel....

Well actually, it's in the promo, so yeah!

I'm kind of equal parts baffled and warmed that he would even trust Dean at this point!

It is such a brilliant clip. Such a great brother clip. Through their anger and hurt and blood thirsty rage, they are still brothers. That love still shines through. *wibble*  (Save him Sammy!)

Man, I seriously have no idea where all this is going. All I know is Jensen was surprised by the finale script, and it's something we've never seen and the last frame is going to leave us so excited for season 10.  Maybe my, they win and go for burgers concept is right! We've never seen that and I'd be super excited for 10 if the boys were talking and going for burgers! Yeppers!

So, when the CHCH promo drops I will include it OF COURSE!

I leave you with this photo of Sam and Cas at a nightclub. THAT'S WHAT'S HAPPENING HERE, RIGHT?

Oh and fingers crossed we get the song, because ZEPPELIN RULES!

P.S. in 2 weeks time we'll be singing Carry On Wayward Son. HOLLY F**K!

As Crowley would say.... FEEEEELINGS!

Here's the CHCH promo!

"Sacrifices have to be made....."

Enjoy the episode, everyone! Try not to think about hellatusssssssssss!

Spoliers Sweeties! Sneak Peek Supernatural 9.22 "Stairway to Heaven"

Ohhhhhh I love this sneak peek. Every single second of it. Every. Single. Second.

Let's take a good look.

So whatever the Mark is doing to Dean, it's changing him on a pysiological level. Kind of like the trials were doing to Sam. I wonder, and I assume not, did Cain sleep? Oh man... my stomach hurts.

Spoliers Sweeties! Promotional photos from Supernatural 9.22 "Stairway to Heaven"

It's the penultimate episode! (Who says penultimate). OH MY G'

Here are some photos to set your brains a whirring!

Ohhhh Tessa! I love Tessa. I love the Reapers. Don't kill her. Usually I'd say Dean would make sure she was okay, because they have history and he likes her...but right now, I don't know, what with Dean having activated the Mark of Cain!

Mmmmmmmmmm.... pretty.

I think I'm going to like this scene. I like this photo! I like how Dean is all reaching out across the table.

(Don't kill Tessa)

Deano sweetie, put the angel blade down! Does that blade look a bit well used or is that just the lighting?
OK IT'S "THE FIRST BLADE" ISN'T IT!

Speaking of lighting. Check out the next series of images featuring Sam and Cas who obviously team up while Dean tries to get information out of Tessa the Reaper. The lighting is so pretty in these scenes.

Cas looks like he's modelling. Sam looks startled by the chic.

Oh this is a glorious shot of Sam...

They swung by the local disco ;D

Where does this door go?!

What's Metatron up to now? A night out with his bowling league?

Oh hey's Gadreel. Are you secretly working against Metatron now, or are you just as dim as you were when you first decided to join up with him. (He's so dim...)

Metatron is my favourite evil character in a long time. Not counting Crowley of course, who I have to remind myself is evil! Metatron is just so annoyingly perky with his evilness. He's gleefully evil! You know he's all powerful, you know he knows it, but he toys with everyone like a kitten with a bug. Pat, pat, pat around the room. It's genuinely scary and also makes you hate him. But I'm enjoying hating him! And Curtis Armstrong eats up every scene he's in. But I do want Metatron to get what he deserves. You know what would be cool? If he was stripped of his angel powers and he became just an odd little guy who read a lot. I bet he'd hate that. I think he has a bit of a complex...

So there you go peeps...a sneaky look at the second to last episode of the season. All angelic by the looks. I wonder where the Crowley/Abaddon situation is by this point.
